Skala – Space, Waves, and a Hint of Freedom
A long stretch of golden sand lines the southern coast of Kefalonia — this is Skala.
Soft waves roll in beneath a sky that seems wider than anywhere else, and the sea glows in shades of turquoise and deep blue, shifting with the light.
Early mornings belong to walkers and swimmers, enjoying the peace before the beach fills with life. A few steps away from the main access points, it feels as if time slows down.
The video I took captures just a glimpse of that atmosphere — the shimmer of moving light, the sound of waves, and the quiet rhythm of the wind whispering through the trees.
Skala may not be a secret, but it remains a place you have to discover for yourself — slowly, step by step, preferably with a coffee in hand and no plans at all.
